1. Delete Files with Disk Clean-up:
First you have to click on the Start button to open the 
disk cleanup. Then you have to type Disk Cleanup in the 
search box. After this, you should select disk cleanup 
from the list of results. Now in the Drives list, you have to
select the drive disk which you wish to clean and then 
just click on OK button. Here in the disk cleanup dialog 
box, you should check the checkboxes to select that files 
which you want to delete. When you delete files, after 
that click on ok button.
2.  System File Checker:
You have to enter the command prompt in the box. After
this, you will get the search result list and then you have 
to scroll down and then right-click on the command 
prompt. Then you have to click Run as administrator. 
Now you have to move to the Administrator: Command 
Prompt window and then type the sfc /scannow 
command and just hit on enter key.
3. Registry Repair:
First you have to open registry editor and then you have 
to remove the preinstalled or older registry key which is 
blocking the installation of the new update. After that, 
you have to find the below keys and just delete it.

keys from 0 to 1 in Office common registry folder.

4. Uninstall and Reinstall Office:
First you have to click on the start button and then go to 
the control panel. After this, you have to click on 
programs and features. Now you have to search for MS 
Office in the installed program list. Then you have to 
select Microsoft Office and then click on uninstall option. 
When the process of uninstall complete, then try to run 
Office Setup just to install MS Office.
Reinstall MS Office:
First you have to login to www.office.com/setup. Then 
you have to enter the username and password. After 
this, just click on the install button. At last, you have to 
click on all done button.
