The project began with requirement analysis, followed by structuring product categories, creating seller and buyer flows, and designing pages for product uploads, user registration, and order processing. Key functionalities included secure payment gateway integration, digital file delivery automation, and plugin-based feature enhancements. UI customization using themes and CSS ensured a responsive and intuitive interface. The project concluded with thorough testing, bug fixing, and documentation, ensuring future scalability and performance optimization. 7.3 Problem Encountered and Possible Solutions 1. Product File Delivery Issues Problem: After purchase, users sometimes didn’t receive downloadable files due to misconfigured settings. Solution: Enabled automatic digital file delivery using WooCommerce and ensured files are properly linked with product listings. 2. Plugin Compatibility Errors Problem: Some plugins caused conflicts with the theme or other extensions. Solution: Switched to verified and compatible plugins, and performed version-specific testing before updates. 3. Slow Page Load Speed Problem: Media-heavy pages impacted user experience. Solution: Used caching plugins and optimized image sizes with compression tools to improve load speed. 4. Order Management Confusion Problem: Sellers struggled with managing orders and deliveries within WordPress dashboard. Solution: Integrated a custom vendor dashboard using Dokan for better order tracking and clarity. 5. Security of Digital Files Problem: Shared file URLs were accessible to non-buyers. Solution: Restricted file access using expiring download links and login validation before download. 6. Lack of Product Categorization Problem: Users had difficulty browsing digital products efficiently. Solution: Created clear, multi-level product categories and improved sidebar navigation for better filtering. 7.4 Limitation & Future Work 7.4.1 Limitations: 1. Dependency on Third-party Plugins – Heavy reliance on WooCommerce and other plugins can affect stability. 5. Payment Gateway Limitations – Not all international payment options are supported, limiting global sales. 6. No Licensing Control – Lack of digital licensing or serial key generation for products like software/tools. 7. Limited Marketing Tools – Inbuilt SEO and promotional tools are basic, needing external integrations. 7.4.2 Future Work: 1. Multi-Vendor Marketplace Enhancement – Add advanced vendor onboarding, identity verification, and commission settings. 2. Mobile App Development – Build native mobile apps for Android and iOS for better user accessibility. 3. AI-Based Recommendation System – Implement AI to suggest relevant products based on user activity. 4. Advanced Reporting & Analytics – Integrate tools for visual reports, conversion tracking, and sales forecasting. 5. Support for Licensing & DRM – Include license key generation and digital rights management for premium files. 6.
