The 80’s was the era of glamorous divas but it also created a challenge for women to be flight attendants. https://bit.ly/2OdHWVL
What was it like being an air hostess in the 80's in India
What was it like being an air
hostess in the 80's in India?
Being an air hostess is not just
everyone’s cup of tea, and especially in
India. People try to mock, they try to
drag you down but air hostesses tend to
get habitual to it. COVID 19 has
succeeded in showing the world that it
is not the beauty of the air hostesses
but even when they cover their face they
do their duty with grace.

Glorified ayahs or the Hawaii sundries
These are the names people try to call
an air hostess from but in the 80s it was
way different. Flights were fewer,
people enjoyed luxury, and people
would go all mean about certain things.

We all know the travel news back
in 1986 was bombarded with how
an air hostess saved many of the
passengers’ lives in an attack on
the fight, where she lost her life. A
matter of fact is that they were
never trained to save lives instead
they were trained to serve
passengers.

The era of flight hijacking
Many of the flights were hijacked
back then but it did not stop
many of the girls from pursuing
their dreams of becoming an air
hostess. But they all led their
glamorous life.

No weight gain,
no acne, no glasses
We are all aware of the beauty of
flight attendants. But less do we
know about their lifestyle. They
are not allowed to drink alcohol,
eat junk, or do anything that can
affect their skin and weight.
