 Methods to fix YouTube black screen
 Sign out of your YouTube (Google) account:
 Sign out from YouTube works to remove the black screen 
problem of YouTube. Follow the steps given below to sign 
out from YouTube account:
 Open the YouTube app in your device.
 Then click on the account icon appeared in the upper 
right corner of the YouTube page.
 Now, click on the sign out option.
 
 Update the browser:
 You need to update your browser to fix the YouTube 
black screen problem. 
 If you are using Mozilla Firefox then follow the steps to 
update Mozilla Firefox browser:
 Firstly, you need to click on menu button and then select 
help option.
 After this, click on the option About Firefox.
 Then this will check the updates and download the 
updates automatically.  
 Click on the option restart Firefox button to restart 
Firefox.
  If you are using Chrome browser then follow the 
steps to update the Chrome browser.
 Open Google Chrome and click on the menu icon.
 After this, select help option and then click on the 
option named About Google chrome.
  Then chrome will automatically search for updates 
available and download the updates automatically.
 Now, press the Relaunch button.
 Now, go to YouTube and check that the black 
screen problem still persists or not. If it still 
persists then go to next option.
 Flush the cache and cookies of browser
 Firstly, you need to click on the menu button and then 
select options.
 After that, click on privacy and settings tab.
 Now, scroll down and search for cookies and site data 
tab.
 In the cookies and site data tab, click on clear data button 
and then click on the clear option.
 Restart the Firefox browser.
