wide variety of AWWA Butterfly Valves. Our AWWA Butterfly Valves have
been well received for several years by various prestigious organizations.
Definition of an AWWA Butterfly Valve
AWWA stands for the American Water Works Association. A butterfly valve
regulates the medium's flow by allowing and restricting fluid flow. In this kind of
valve, the rod is joined by a disc. This disc allows fluid to pass through the valve.
Lever-operated, hand-wheel-operated, and gear-operated are the three variants
available for AWWA butterfly valves. These valves come with either an electric or
pneumatic actuator, depending on your requirements.

What is a Butterfly Valve?
A butterfly valve is a part of the quarter-turn rotary motion valve family (bi-
directional) that is used to prevent, control, or start flow.
Quarter valves include the type of valves in which 1/4 turn of the disk is enough to
fully open or fully close the flow. Quarter turn valves are fast to operate as they
only require 90 degrees of rotation in order to move from the fully open to the
fully closed position. This is also why they are also called fast-acting valves.
The butterfly valve gets its name from the shape of the plug and how it moves.
The plug is disc-shaped with a rod passing through it which makes it look like a
butterfly. When the rod is turned, it rotates the disc by a quarter such that the disc
falls perpendicular to the flow and stops it. And to restore the flow, the rod
rotates the disc back to the original position, i.e. away from the flow. The valve
can also be opened in stages to control the flow.
Advantages of Butterfly Valve:
A high-pressure rebound follows the low-pressure decrease.
Can be installed/removed easily without disrupting the piping system
Costs less because there is less raw material.
Design is small & requires little room.

Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valve manufacturer in USA
SVR Global is a prominent Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valve manufacturer in
USA that provides a variety of pneumatically operated valves. We test each of
our pneumatically operated valves to make sure it meets the needs of our
customers.
Additionally, we provide custom-built pneumatic actuators that are manufactured
to meet particular industrial requirements.
Definition of a Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valve:
Pneumatic actuated butterfly valves are quarter-turn rotational valves used to
prevent, control, or start the flow of medium through systems. These valves are
ideal for managing vast quantities of fluid or gases at low pressure.
A pneumatic actuated butterfly valve converts compressed gas energy into
mechanical motion. A pneumatic actuated butterfly valve uses pressurized air or
gas to convert energy into linear or rotational motion. They are very efficient,
cost- effective, and safe. They are especially used to open and shut the valve. They
look like a huge circle. This valve is used to control or isolate fluid flow.
Working of Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valve:
A butterfly valve should ideally have a disc in the middle of a stem and pipe. The
stem is attached to an actuator (for automatically actuated valves) or a handle (for
manually operated valves). The valve's stem is attached to a pneumatic actuator,
which uses pressurized air to move a piston or a diaphragm to either close or open
the valve.
When the valve is closed, the disc is held firmly by a valve seat and rests
perpendicular to the fluid flow. The stem is sealed with an O-ring to avoid leaks
and provide a snug but flexible fit. The disc moves to a position parallel to the
fluid flow when the pneumatic actuator rotates the stem at a 90-degree angle. The
flow becomes proportionate or throttled when the stem is partially rotated, and the
valve can be used to modulate services.
Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valve is used in industries like:
Chemical industry
Mining industry
Petroleum industry
Types of Pneumatic Actuated Butterfly Valve:
Wafer-style butterfly valve
Lug-style butterfly valve
Flanged butterfly valve

Concentric Butterfly Valve Manufacturer in USA
SVR Global is a reputable Concentric Butterfly Valve Manufacturer in USA with
a wide variety of Concentric Butterfly Valves. Our products have been well
received for many years by various prestigious organizations.
What is a Concentric Butterfly Valve?
The most typical kind of butterfly valve is a centric or concentric valve, commonly
referred to as a zero-offset butterfly valve.
The disc is in the center of the valve body, and the stem is in the middle of the
disc. The disc remains in the passage, but due to its thinness, it offers very little
flow resistance. Some disc sections are always in contact or rubbing against the
seat as it opens or closes. This configuration results in friction being applied to the
seat each time the valve is used.
Concentric butterfly valves are also referred to as resilient seated butterfly valves
since it depends on the flexibility of the seat rubber when the flow is closed, for
the reliability of the seal.
Advantages of Concentric Butterfly valves
SVR Global is a trust-worthy Concentric Butterfly Valve Manufacturer in USA
that has the following advantages-
Consists of fewer components
Easier to operate & maintain.
