About us
• Uptown International School (UIS), a Taaleem school, is one of the country's 
most prestigious IB schools. UIS is a multilingual, global educational 
institution located in the heart of the Mirdif community in Dubai. Here 
students learn how to think critically, challenge assumptions, excel, build 
character, build friendships, and become multilingual global citizens.
• We are an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering 
the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), 
and the Diploma Programme (DP). The school language of instruction is 
English. The Arabic language studies are in the Early Years Programme and 
French is offered from Grade 1 onwards.

Nursery School

explore their world through sensory experiences, storytelling, music, art, and interactive 
learning. The program emphasizes early literacy and numeracy skills while also 
promoting social, emotional, and physical development, helping children become 
confident learners from the start.
• Teachers at Uptown School are dedicated to providing individualized care and attention, 
ensuring that each child’s unique learning style is supported. The classroom is designed 
to be a safe, welcoming space where children feel comfortable expressing themselves,
