James Gunn is now famous for the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol.2 and James's movies are unique, humorous, and at times gross. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 does not yet have a release date but is expected to be released sometime in 2023.

James Gunn - American Screenwriter,
Actor, Producer, and Director
James Gunn was born and raised in
St. Louis, Missouri, to Leota and
James Francis Gunn. He is from a
large Catholic family, with Irish and
Czech ancestry. He began to write
and perform from an early age.
When he was twelve years of age,
he started creating 8mm films, most
of which were comedic splatter
films that featured his brothers
being eviscerated by zombies.
However, his professional career
started as a screenwriter in the
mid-90s.
Guardians of the Galaxy
James Gunn started acting as a director with Slither, a
horror-comedy film. Some of his notable works are
Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy 2,
and The Suicide Squad. He has also written and
directed the superhero film Super. Apart from writing
and directing these and many other films, he has
executively produced I Am Groot, Avengers: Infinity
War, and Avengers: Endgame. James Gunn is now
famous for the Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn's
movies are unique, humorous, and at times gross.
James Gunn - Music
While living in St. Louis, Gunn founded a band, The
Icons, in 1989, serving as lead vocalist. The group
released the album Mom, We Like It Here on Earth in
1994, and its songs "Sunday" and "Walking Naked"
were featured in the film Tromeo and Juliet. The
Icons disbanded in the mid-1990s. Gunn has
continued to work in music, composing songs for
Scooby-Doo, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and
Movie 43.
Film and Television – James Gunn
Gunn began his career in filmmaking with
Troma Entertainment in 1995, for which he wrote the
independent film Tromeo and Juliet. Working alongside
his mentor Lloyd Kaufman, the co-founder of Troma,
Gunn learned how to write screenplays, produce films,
scout locations, direct actors, distribute films, and create
his own poster art. After contributing to several other
Troma films, Gunn in 2000 wrote, produced and
performed in the superhero comedy The Specials,
directed by Craig Mazin and featuring Rob Lowe,
Thomas Haden Church, Paget Brewster, Judy Greer and
Jamie Kennedy.
