outperform other e-learning formats in lea rning outcomes, particularly in reducing 
cognitive load on learners. 
On the other hand, some learners argue that blended learning services have issues with 
motivation, flexibility, engagement, and technology adoption in the program and among 
learners. 
Both ends of the argument are valid in various situations, but it does not mean that 
blended learning does not serve a purpose for learners. In this article, we will argue 
whether this format of learning is worth adopting by L&D or not.

Blended learning services are professional services from the provider that can provide 
the desired training program for their workforce and organisation. The hired professional 
will understand learning needs, design content, develop the program, and deliver the 
training according to the training objectives. The blended learning platform delivers the 
learning content in dual formats: self-paced modules and instructor-led sessions that can 
be either in-person or digitally live. 
When the orgnsation signs up for the service provider, their initiative is not only training, 
but they must also design instruction and analyse the results, along with making changes 
where the client wants changes.

times.

The blended learning services seem to be overrated by some learners, and the 
reaction can be valid because the blended learning is not a fit for every 
situation, but it could be flirue of their organisations or employers in the 
implementation of the program accordingly. Most of the organisations mix pre-
made e-learning programs with a bunch of live lectures and decided to call it 
"blended," while it is a completely different approach that requires 
professionals.

For building complex skills, the learner cannot rely on one single method in training. They 
must gain the basic knowledge first, seek guidance, practice live with a trainer or peers, and 
then reinforce the whole training. Blended learning solutions are the only format that offers all

If the companies use blended learning services at every training, then it will be just an extra 
expense, a waste of resources and time. Learning components like product knowledge, 
software learning, compliance training refreshment, and any basic tutorials do not need 
blended learning. Corporations save and invest the same money in skill development for 
impressive results. 
3.The hidden value
The blended learning platforms cost more than investing in e-learning programs. While some 
might believe that blended training can be altered and completely self-paced, this means the 
high-value program is being replaced with a cheap one that will not deliver the same results. 
Blended learning services have more prospects than just being expensive, such as increased 
productivity and social learning opportunities.
