really long time. But how do you clean and maintain your 
favourite wooden toys? It's actually not difficult provided 
you use gentle non-abrasive products and do it correctly.
     It is important to clean wooden toys after your child has used them, 
as they can become dirty and even mouldy. Children put their toys in 
their mouth, so you want to make sure they are clean for safety 
reasons, but also to ensure that the paint does not wear off. Keeping 
your wooden toys clean will keep them looking great for longer and 
also keep them in the best condition to give to future generations.
• Here's how you can clean wooden toys:
• Take a bowl or spray bottle full of warm water and add a 
small amount of mild dish soap. 
• For stubborn stains, use a mix of 1 parts vinegar to 10 parts 
warm water solution. 
• Spray or dab cloth onto the wooden toy (never soak or fully 
immerse toy in water as this will cause swelling and cracks/ 
damage.
• Wipe toy down gently with cloth or sponge.
• Place toy outside in a safe place and allow to dry (Avoid 
direct sunlight)
