If the applicant does not possess a degree from a Veterinary School, the candidate must successfully complete the program and receive certification from the Education Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) of the AVMA. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS Contact the regulatory agency regarding application procedures, type of examination, passing score, and examination fee. Schedule of examinations are determined by the regulatory agency, but normally given two (2) times a year, April and December. Should you fail, you may retake the portion failed within two (2) years.
