Chopta is a serene and picturesque destination located in the northern part of Uttarakhand, India. Often referred to as the "Mini Switzerland of India," it is part of the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary and lies at an elevation of approximately 2,680 meters (8,790 feet) above sea level.
