exam which is conducted each year for those
candidates who want to take admission in IITs.

Through this exam, you can get admission in IITs
and IISc to pursue M.Sc, Joint M.Sc. Ph.D, M.Sc.-
Ph.D dual degree, and other courses.
But to appear in this exam you must have a
bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% aggregate
marks.
How to Get into IITs for M.Tech?
Here are the steps that will help you to get into IITs
for pursuing M.Tech -
You must have to complete B.Tech and should have
secured more than 60% for M.Tech admission. It is
compulsory to clear the GATE (Graduate Aptitude
Test for Engineering) with good percentiles to get
admission in IITs.
Those who have their UG engineering degree from
IIT with a CGPA of 8 or above are exempted from
the GATE score.
