Politics and Business
Business & Politics (BAP) has built itself because the
premier journal for cuttingedge research around the
relationship between private firms and public governance
institutions. We are curious about multiple amounts of
analysis: from individual entrepreneurs to worldwide
economic sectors, and from metropolitan areas to global
governance institutions. Instead of treating processes of
governance and also the organization of firms and markets
individually, the journal showcases research that finds
points of linkage together.
So how exactly does the business of firms and markets
shape the nation's, subnational, and supranational
governance of monetary, social, and foreign policies?
How can firms and markets communicate with political
parties, electoral alliances, and just how will they impact
policymakers’ agendas? Consequently, how can
governing institutions shape the failure or success of
person firms, policymaking in economic sectors, and
much more generally, the connection between market
competition and economic development?
Business & Politics is especially thinking about manuscripts
which use the various tools of social science to light up
contemporary policy issues, for example financialisation and
economic policymaking inside a publishcrisis era, and
important scholarly foci, for example business strategy in
weakly institutionalized environments, private regulation and
privatization of services, and also the relationship between
business organizations, nongovernmental organizations, courts,
and political parties.
The journal also seeks manuscripts that provide new insights on
foundation concerns of worldwide trade, industrial policy,
lobbying and public policy, regulation, nonmarket strategy,
and corporations as both targets of and catalysts for political
activity.
The editorial team emphasizes analytical rigor and novel
theoretical and empirical analysis, that the journal
doesn't affiliate with any dominant group of
methodologies or approaches. We're particularly thinking
about manuscripts utilizing a comparative approach,
mixregional studies, and interdisciplinary work and
strongly encourage submissions from business, political
science, law, financial aspects, and public policy.
The journal is edited by Vinod K. Aggarwal (UC
Berkeley), a number one expert in worldwide
business and public policy. Authors include notable
professors in the College of Oxford, the College of
Pennsylvania, and also the Sloan School of economic.
The Journal continues to be awarded an "A" ranking
for research quality through the Australian Research
Council.
