sure that you are prepared for what lies ahead.
Get to Know Your Classmates & Your Teachers
As you begin your cosmetology school journey, getting to know your classmates is 
an important part of the experience. Your classmates will soon become your close 
friends and colleagues. You don't need to wait until your first day to start making 
connections; if you know who your fellow students will be, go ahead and introduce 
yourself, exchange phone numbers and social media details. Show your willingness 
to get to know each other better by asking them out sometime—you'll be building 
the support system for your new profession right away!
As you prepare for cosmetology school, it is important to get to know 
your potential teachers. Research the instructors at the schools you 
are considering and read online reviews from past students. Schedule 
a time to meet with the instructors and ask them about their teaching 
style, what they think makes a great cosmetologist, and what their
