How To Deal With A Heart Attack When Alone
How To Deal With A
Heart Attack When
Alone
A heart attack is a common problem these days! It
can even lead you to death. However, it’s curable
too via heart surgeries and other advanced
treatments. To make heart surgery successful,
doctors use embolic cerebral protection devices
during cardiac procedures.
A heart attack happens suddenly. If you suffer a
heart attack while in the company of people, they
will help you! But, how will you deal with a heart
attack if you are alone? Will you survive it? Firstly
you should know the symptoms of a heart attack:
Symptoms of a heart attack include:
Severe chest pain (like heaviness, squeezing,
pressing) at the center or left side of the chest. This
usually lasts for a minimum of 20 min.
Pain that flows to the left upper arm, neck, or jaw.
Excessive sweating and a bad feeling.
Shortness of Breath
Nausea or Vomiting
Pain in the abdomen
What To Do!
If you notice the above symptoms then
the first thing is a call for emergency
medical help. In the meanwhile, you can
take aspirin too. It is the popular blood-
thinning medication, which will improve
your chances of survival during a heart
attack.
What Not To Do!
1 Do not cough repeatedly
Certainly, this will not going to prevent
heart attack but can help you to deal with
that and increase the chances of your
survival.
What Not To Do!
2 Do not apply pressure on the chest
Applying pressure on the chest will not
going to help unless it is the cardiac
arrest which means the person’s heart
has stopped beating. If this happens, the
CPR is the solution that should be
performed by a trained person.
