Inductively Coupled Plasma Emission Spectrometer is an analytical spectrometer that uses plasma as a source to desolvate, ionise, and excite the sample and employs optical emission for sample analysis and is spotted by their characteristic emission lines and quantified by the intensity of the same lines. Mainly used for liquid samples, it is used for simultaneous, sequential analysis of multiple elements with few chemical interference or ionization interference. it is a very sensitive technique for routine analysis of liquid samples as well as materials.
