A hygrometer, also referred to as a humidity metre or gauge, measures the humidity in the air. In other words, hygrometers calculate temperature and pressure fluctuations to determine how much moisture is present in a specific environment. Psychrometers, mechanical hygrometers, electrical or digital models, and dew point hygrometers are only a few of the several types of hygrometers available.
