People wear badges or bracelet, or a tag is put on an asset. 3. Bluetooth beacon (badge, tag or bracelet) sends UUID, major, minor, etc., periodically. The maximum transmit distance is 50m. 4. Deploy a gateway in each room like a meeting room, office or warehouse shown in the map. 2. Deploy solar Bluetooth gateway outdoor for securi- ty inspection. 3. Gateway forwards beacon information when a new beacon enters or lefts its range. 4. Accuracy: This scenario is used to determine wheth- er the beacon is in the room or in its coverage. 5. Algorithm: Distance between beacon and Gateway can be calculated, but the direction is unknown. Beacon signal may be received by gateways in a nearby room. Deploy Bluetooth gateways about 10m from each other in each corner of the office as shown in the map. 3. The 4 gateways forward beacon information (major, minor, RSSI .etc.) when beacon enters or leave the range. 4. Accuracy: Up to 3m 5. Algorithm: Triangulation and filtering algorithm. 6. Tracker sends beacon information (major, minor, RSSI etc.) to LoRa gateway when it enters the bea- con coverage and receives its signal. 3. Accuracy: This scenario is used to determine wheth- er the beacon is in the room or its coverage. 4. Algorithm: Distance between beacon and tracker can be calculated, but the direction is unknown.
