Google made a major announcement of Google I/O about the search related features on 11th May  
2022. The tech giant broadcasted many features such as multisearch near me, immersive map views,  
Google Translate & Lens expansion, image skin tones and schema, My Ad Centre, personal  
information tool, about this result expansion, Android and so much more.
Sundar Pichai, the Google CEO, while sharing the updates added that they are advancing two  
fundamental aspects of their mission which is knowledge and computing to create products that are  
built to help. Check out the latest Google updates following the announcement of Google I/O 2022.
1. Multisearch Near Me
The feature is launched in the Google App. It allows you to search while taking a photo but can also  
ask a question at the same time. Sooner or later this year, a user can screenshot or take a picture and  
add ‘near me’ to get local results.

2. Scene Exploration
A user can scan an area and Google Lens will identify and overlay search information. The CEO said  
that the Scene Exploration is like a supercharged CTRL+F for the real world.
3. Immersive View In Google Maps
Google will stitch together photos to give its users an immersive view in Google Maps. It is a new  
way to experience what a neighbourhood, landmark, restaurant and venue will be like and better -  
even feel like you are right there.
