Spines 
Catch fish with fin spines or fish with teeth can be tricky. After reeling in a fish, be mindful 
when handling it. To protect your hands wear fishing gloves and use a dehooker tool or 
pliers with long handles.   
   If you don’t have a lot of fishing experience pulling in a large game fish can be dangerous 
when bringing it into the boat. Handling fish with sharp fin spines and teeth can be risky.
