Use Task Scheduler
Search Task scheduler in 
1 serarch Bar > Open Task 
scheduler> Click on the Task 
Scheduler library button to 
activate the drop-down menu
2 Right-click on the 
Microsoft folder, and 
select Delete.
3 Re-try installing 
Microsoft Office.
Troubleshoot using Windows Store
1 Open Setings > Click on 
Update & Security 
2 Select Troubleshooting, and 
then scroll down to the 
Windows Store Apps, and click 
on it to run the troubleshooter.
3 Restart your PC and retry 
installing Microsoft Office.
Temporarily deactivate antivirus software on your PC
1 Locate your antivirus icon 
in the Taskbar.
2 Right-click it and choose 
the option to disable the 
antivirus.
3 After doing that, try to 
install Microsoft Office 
again.
Rename the Microsoft Help folder
1 Press Windows Key + R > 
Type %programdata% > 
Press Enter
2 In the folder that opens, 
Search Microsoft Help, 
and rename it to Microsoft 
Help.old.
3 Restart your PC.
Remove Microsoft and re-install
1 Download the official 
Microsoft Office removing 
Tool, and follow on 
screen insruction for 
Office removal.
2 To remove all traces of 
MS Office, Press Win + 
R keys, type Regedit 
>Press Enter.
3 Inside the Registry Editor, navigate to the following 
key and delete it if it exists: 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windo
wsNT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\Micr
osoft\Office
Retry installing Microsoft Office like you normally 
would.
