Mark Hemstreet has worked hard to realize his dream of owning and operating the
largest independent, privately owned and operated Hospitality Company in the Western
United States. He started his mission in 1974 when he opened the first Shilo Inn near
the Portland International Airport in Oregon. 
Today, the company consists of 14 Shilo Company owned and 6 Shilo Franchised Shilo’s
equaling 20 Shilo properties and 14 restaurants across six Western States and Texas.
