                     Rockspace Range Extender Setup:
Method for Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) 
1. If you’re using an older extender for the wifi range? Then, you need to reset it, first 
of all. Take a clip or a pointed object with a paper pin and press the reset button.  
2. Try placing your extender near your router at home. 
3. Plug in an electric power socket with your wireless range extender. Make sure that 
the proper power supply is given to your wifi range extender. 
4. Wait a few minutes, then press the button for WPS. 
5. Until the WPS LED of the extender becomes solid green, do not unplug it. 
6. Unplug it after that and place it in a new location. Make sure you place your wi-fi 
range extender halfway between the signals from your home wi-fi router and the 
dead spots on the network. 
7. Now, to test the live internet connection, try to connect your computer or laptop to 
the extended network. 
Method of Ethernet Cable Setup 
● Try placing your extender near your router at home. 
● Use a CAT5 Ethernet cable and try to connect to the router with your wifi range 
extender. 
● With another Ethernet cable, connect your computer to the router. 
● Plug in an electric power socket with your wireless range extender and router. Make 
sure that the proper power supply is given to your wifi range extender. 
● On your computer, run any web browser and visit the login page for 
re.rockspace.local OR AP.Setup. If you have not visited the login page for the 
extender, try using the default IP address of your extender. 
● You’ll land on the web page of the Rockspace extender admin panel. 
● Enter the default login credentials for the Rockspace wi-fi extender, and then hit the 
‘Sign In’ or ‘Log In’ button. 
● You’re going to land on the web page with the wi-fi range extender setup. 
● To continue the setup process, choose the ‘extender’ option. 
● Now, follow the instructions on-screen. 
● Once done , click to apply the final modifications on the ‘Save’ 
button.
● Unplug it after that and place it in a new location. Make sure you 
place your wifi range extender halfway between your network 
signals from your home wifi router and the dead network spots.
● Now, to test the live internet connection, try to connect your 
computer or laptop to the extended network.
