Clean the walls

If your home is built with a mix of materials, add caulk 
to the surfaces where different materials meet to 
create additional protection. If your exterior siding 
material is wood, look for knots in the wood.

applying a coat of stain-resistant primer using a small 
paintbrush. Next, protect all exterior doors, windows, 
and light fixtures using plastic sheeting and masking

time to take action. It is recommended that you start by 
spraying the entire house with a matte or eggshell-

than one.

overlapping the sections of paint. Remember that a primer 
is not necessary when a fresh coat of paint of the same

windows, and light fixtures. Start with two coats of semi-
gloss paint, covering the woodwork with a small 
paintbrush.
