Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in India
• NEET is required.
• The applicant must be 17 years old when admitted to an MBBS 
programme in India.
• The candidate's age cannot be more than 25.
• For general category pupils in the 12th grade, the medical candidate 
must receive 50% of the possible points. Candidates for the reserved 
category must score at least 40%.
• The percentages for SC/ST and OBC at AIIMS are 60% and 45%, 
respectively.
• The three main disciplines a medical student should have taken in 12th 
year are physics, chemistry, and biology.
• A medical aspirant may also take the JIPMER or AIIMS admission exams, 
the Kerala CEE, the Karnataka CET, etc.

• Candidates for medicine must be in possession of current 10th and 12th 
grade transcripts.

proof that they will be able to cover the admissions fees.
