Design: 
Netgear's Black Nighthawk Pro gaming router looks like an alien 
spacecraft attacking the earth. It is wedge-shaped, with all angles and 
conservative lines, with large vents at the front and rear. It does not 
have a fan, and even under penetrating use, it hardly generates heat to 
the touch. The XR500 events 12.7 x 9.6 x 2.2 inches and has a cut-out 
right angle that brands it look like an interesting face, although with a 
slight overlap. On the downside, it is 45% larger than the Linksys WRT 
32X gaming router and lacks a simple wall-mounted installation 
method. 
 
 
The goal of XR500 is the online game market, providing a variety of 
good things that can increase speed and reduce latency. After all, every 
shot will endanger your online reputation, and you don't want your 
router to be a weak link. XR500 is based on a Qualcomm QCA9984 
Wi-Fi chip, equipped with 256MB RAM and 512MB flash memory 
space, equipped with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor. The dual-band 
router can reach up to 800Mbps in 2.4GHz mode and 1,733Mbps in 
5GHz mode. The theoretical limit is 2.533Gbps. 
V shape  
Its LED front end forms a "V" shape. In addition to power and 
Internet, its four Ethernet ports, 2.4 and 5GHz frequency bands, and 
two USB ports and guest network have separate indicators. There is a 
separate LED that doubles as a button to turn Wi-Fi transmission on 
and off and to start Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) connection 
sequence. Happily, there is a switch at the back to turn off all devices 
except the power light. 
 
 
 There are one WAN and four LAN ports on the back of the router, all 
of which can move data at speeds of up to gigabits per second. In 
addition to the power port and on/off button, the XR500 also has an 
embedded reset button. Its two USB 3.0 ports are located on the side, 
but the XR500 does not have the more flexible combination of WRT 
32X USB/eSATA connectors. 
Its four enhanced antennas are screwed on the spine and sides of the 
router. They are predictable and can alternately obtain the roughest 
signals, but they are aggregated and need to be in the correct position, 
otherwise, the program will be affected. 
Software 
XR500 has a series of speed-up approaches using Net Duma's Dumas 
software, which is alike in many respects to the Killer Collation train of 
Linksys WRT 32X. The XR500's quality of service (QoS) eyes are used 
to order bandwidth: you can monopolize all bandwidth for gaming 
sessions, or allocate it to be more similar to other link systems. My 
first choice is the one-click box, which provides the top state of 
bandwidth for a system (seems to be mine). 
 
 
Performance 
Due to the confidentiality of Qualcomm's QCA 9984 Wi-Fi chip, 
XR500 is a powerful driving force for a router-rated AC2600. When 
using the ix Chariot software to test our capabilities in Utah, the router 
was a scream, and it should be loved by gamers everywhere. 
Its peak of 715.4Mbps happened at a client 15 feet away from the 
router; it enthused 704.7Mbps at 5 feet. This means that it is more 
influential than most ordinary routers and leads Linksys WRT 32X 
(544.5Mbps) by 24% at the same distance. However, it is 25% behind 
the TP-Link Archer C2300 router at 5 feet (939.6Mbps). TP-Link 
Archer C2300 is our current king of speed. 
The XR500 amount rate drops to 514.5, 524.3, and 342.2 Mbps at 50, 
100, and 150 feet, correspondingly. In addition to the cold of 50 feet, it 
conveniently beats the Linksys WRT 32X, which is slightly faster at 
538.3Mbps. 
Set up 
The Netgear Nighthawk XR500 Pro gaming router is set up via a 
web page, not a mobile or tablet application. You can use Netgear's 
Genie or Nighthawk (formerly known as up) apps for iOS phones, 
Android, and tablets to filter the router's behavior, view related 
content, and check its performance. 
 
 
Setting up the XR500 is logical, fast, and easy. After plugging in the 
AC adapter of the router and connecting it to my broadband modem, I 
typed "routerlogin.net" in the browser window; using the IP address 
192.168.1.1 also works. I agreed to the company's license, named the 
router, and gave it a special password. 
Configuration 
It is foreseeable that XR500 can be adjusted and adjusted according to 
your calculation, surfing, and betting style. The screen has an 
irresistible crimson appearance and white type, but nothing evil 
happens. 
 
 
In addition to modifying the QoS section and adjusting the geographic 
filter, you can also change everything from port forwarding to 
changing CTS/RTS Verge to changing the preamble mode. Unlike the
