Linksys RE6700 setup involves several steps to extend your Wi-Fi network's range. Here's a general guide to 
get you started:
• Before you begin:
1.Make sure you have a Wi-Fi router already set up and running.
2.Prepare a device with Wi-Fi capability (e.g., a laptop, smartphone, or tablet) to configure the range extender.
• Step-by-step setup:
1P. lacement: Find a suitable location for your RE6700 range extender. It should be placed within the range of 
your existing Wi-Fi network but not too far away that it loses signal strength.
2P. ower On: Plug the RE6700 into an electrical outlet. Wait for the power LED to turn solid green.
3C. onnect to the Extender's Wi-Fi Network:
1.On your device (laptop, smartphone, or tablet), go to the Wi-Fi settings.
2.Look for the Wi-Fi network named something like "Linksys Extender Setup - XXX" (where "XXX" represents the last three 
characters of the extender's MAC address).
3.Connect to this network.
4A. ccess the Setup Page:
1.Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) on the same device you connected to the extender's network.
2.In the address bar, type "192.168.1.1" and press Enter.
3.If that doesn't work, try "http://RE6700" or "http://192.168.0.1."

1S. et Up Your Extender:
1.You should now see the Linksys RE6700 setup page. Click "Start Setup."
2.Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network's name (SSID) from the list of available networks. 
If prompted, enter your Wi-Fi network's password.
2C. reate an Extended Wi-Fi Network:
1.You'll be asked to set up an extended Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password for the range extender. You can 
keep the same name and password as your main router's network or create a unique one for the extender.
3C. onnect to the New Extended Network:
1.After the setup is complete, the extender will reboot. Wait for the power LED to turn solid green again.
2.Go back to your Wi-Fi settings on your device and connect to the new extended network you just set up.

1.For optimal performance, try to place the extender in a location where it still receives a strong signal from your 
main Wi-Fi router.
• That's it! Your Linksys RE6700 should now be set up and extending the range of your existing Wi-
Fi network.
