parts require.

action of the machine pushing out the final workpiece from platens using ejector pins. 
In the molding machine, the ejector pushes against an ejector plate on the mold. The 
ejector pins are attached to the plate and are responsible for performing a push 
operation on the molded part after the plastic has hardened and the mold has opened.
• After the workpiece has been molded, the mold opens and the ejector pins slowly 
extend outwards, something that causes the finished part to be pushed out of the mold 
cavity.  The pin movement is timed with the mold opening, since the pins that move too 
quickly could impact the plastic workpiece and cause damage to the final product. If 
the pins move very slowly, they may not be able to fully eject the molded part.
