Full-Time Youth Pastor (Cerritos, CA) Location: Cerritos, California, United States Compensation Depending On Experience Hours: 40 hours/week We are a multilingual and multigenerational evangelical church in Cerritos seeking a passionate Youth Pastor to provide pastoral leadership and spiritual oversight to our middle school and high school students within a Chinese-heritage church context. This role focuses on discipling youth, partnering with parents, and building a Gospel-centered youth and family ministry that serves both American-born and immigrant-background students. The Youth Pastor will shepherd students, lead youth programs, recruit and equip volunteers, and help integrate youth into the life of the wider church. This position requires collaboration with church leadership and active participation in churchwide events and ministries. Key Responsibilities Teach and preach at Friday youth fellowship, Sunday worship, and Sunday School Shepherd, disciple, and provide pastoral care to youth and families Recruit, train, and lead adult volunteers Organize retreats, camps, mission trips, outreach, and service projects Participate in church meetings, events, and administrative responsibilities Qualifications A mature and growing follower of Jesus Christ with a clear calling to ministry Passion for youth and family ministry Seminary or Bible school training (M.Div. preferred but not required) Experience with Chinese churches or immigrant church youth ministry preferred Strong gifts in leadership, teaching, preaching, and discipleship Understanding of youth culture and a teachable spirit Application Requirements Résume Cover letter and personal testimony Statement of faith Two to three references (including a pastor or ministry supervisor) Sample sermon or teaching (video or audio preferred)
