Dr Monica  Wehby is  the  world’s  famous  American Physician and Pediatric
Neurosurgery specialist. She is a former Republican US Senate candidate as
well. Monica has been in practice for more than 20 years, providing her with
much  more  experience  than  any  other  specialists  in  her  area.  She  is  an
international expert in spina bifida and tethered cord. Being an awardee of
the Congressional medal of distinction for improving Children’s health, she
often reveals that her keen interest lies in every aspect of pediatric surgery.
Talking of her educational background, Monica Wehby was a bright scholar.
She earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medical in the year
1984. Also, Dr Monica is an alumna of the University of Notre Dame. After
completing her residency in Neurosurgery at the University of California, she
completed her fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery at a Primary Children’s
hospital at the University of Utah.

Dr  Monica  Wehby  started  her  Neurosurgical  career  by  working  as  a
consultant  in  Portland,  Oregon.  She  served  as  the  Director  of  Pediatric
Neurosurgery at Randall’s Children Hospital at Legacy Emanuel.  She is an
outstanding surgeon and has done commendable work in the field of pediatric
neurosurgery. Being a local of Nashville, Tennessee, Monica Wehby returned
to her hometown to join Goodmen Campbell Brain and Spine. One can imagine
the worthiness of Dr Monica by seeing the number of various board positions
she held at the local, state and national levels. She remained the Trustee of
the  American  Medical  Association  in  2011,  President  of  both  the  Oregon
Medical Association and the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland. Also,
Dr  Monica  remained  the  Northwest  Regional  Director  of  the  American
Association  of  Neurological  Surgeons  and  a  Board  member  of  Ronald
McDonald House Charities.
Dr Monica Wehby is a person of utmost integrity and responsibility. She has
created this impression by making an impact on society with her good deeds.
She has the license to practice medicine in three US states: Oregon, Indiana,
and  Nebraska.  The  clinical  interests  of  Dr  Monica  lie  in  the  following:
hydrocephalus,  craniofacial  reconstruction,  neonatal  surgery,  congenital
anomalies, and child abuse. She is often seen speaking in the media on how
we can improve the health care system.
Verdict
In  2015,  Dr Monica Wehby joined the Oregon State of  reform conference,
where she expressed her concerns over the top-down approach to regulating
health care. She talked on various topics where she urged the leaders to come
forward  and  consider  the  doctor-patient  relationship  primarily  in  decision
making  and  the  importance  of  consumer  choice.  She  firmly  believes  that
bureaucratic regulations regarding coverage and care have taken medicine
out  of  the  doctors  and  patients.  Monica  Wehby  also  stated  in  another
interview that choosing a medical career was her own natural choice as she
wanted to make life better for others. Her dedication to improving child care
health drives her every day to do better and serve others.
