( Combined Library and Information Services)
INTRODUCTION
The Combined Library and Information Services Exams are to select 
candidates for various positions, such as College Librarian in 
Government Law Colleges, Librarian and Information Officer in Anna 
Centenary Library in the Public Libraries Department, District 
Library Officer, and more. The examination consists of two phases:
·Interview post
·Non-interview post
I. STEPS/STAGES IN THE SELECTION 
PROCESS:
• The Combined Library and information services will be 
evaluated separately for Interview posts and
• Non-Interview post:
• For Interview post :
• The TNPSCCombined Library and Information Services 
consists of two papers and an Interview:
• In which the candidate has to score in Paper 1, paper 2 
(part B), and interview(153/510) marks for the reserved 
category (204/510) marks for the Others category.
• For Non-Interview posts:
• The TNPSC Combined Library and Information Services 
consists of two stages:
• In which the candidate has to score Paper 1, paper 2(part 
B) (135/450) marks for the reserved category (180/450) 
marks for the General category.
