INTRODUCTION
TNPSC District Education Officer
The TNPSC authorities conduct District Education Officer exams to 
choose candidates for the role of District Education Officer.
I. STEPS/STAGES IN THE SELECTION 
PROCESS:
• Authorities conduct the District Education Officer exams in three 
phases.
• ·Preliminary exam: in which the candidate has to score (90/300) marks 
for the Reserved category and (120/300) marks for the General 
category.
• ·      Note: the candidate who will clear the prelims exams is only called 
for the Mains exam.
• ·Mains exam: The Mains exam is of 4 papers in which the candidate has 
to score
• ·      In Paper I to get qualified (40/100) marks
