At Painted Hills, we understand the importance of protecting and 
preserving our wildlife, which is why we have launched a line dedicat-
ed to wildlife awareness. Our “Protect our Deer”, “Protect our Black 
Bears”, and “Protect our Owls” bags 
are a call to action for residents to ac-
tively care for Canada’s beautiful ani-
mals. We hope to push the public to 
engage in both dialogue and actions 
surrounding wildlife preservation by 
designing an eco-friendly bag that is 
inspiring, refreshing, and fashionable. 
Black Bear 
Black Bears are abundantly found throughout Canada, 
and share a deep symbolism of strength, health, 
and family within Canada’s Indigenous storytelling.  
Our “Protect our Bears” bags were created to  
promote the defence of this incredible animal.

Deer
Deer are bountifully found across Canada’s forests,  
and are, within Indigenous storytelling, seen as bearers of 
gentleness, intuition, and power. With the continuation 
of industrialization, we must work to conserve deer 
habitats and, as our bags say, “Protect our Deers.”

Downtown Vancouver
Downtown Vancouver is a land of never-ending 
excitement! From British Columbia’s best nightlife, most

Steam Clock
Gastown’s famous Steam Clock is a token of Canada’s 
history of resilience and pride. The steam clock was built 
by Canadian horologist Raymond Saunders in 1997, upon 
the request of human rights activists who thoughtfully 
proposed the establishment of a historical landmark to 
oppose the construction of a freeway through Gastown and 
CAT-SL6 Chinatown. We hope that our Steam Clock tote ignites in 
you the same diversity, creativity, intuition, and strength 
held by the masterminds behind the historical monument.
