Munim Khan, who also built the Bara - dari, 
Suraj Kund and a lot more. The reason for this 
structure is said to have been a response to 
Akbar’s and his queen’s wish to have a place to 
hold religious debates and disputations. This 
structure is interesting because it represents the 
fusion of Islamic ideals with Hindu styles which 
was very common during the reign of Akbar. This 
monument was made using red sandstone in the 
Mughal from of Indo-Islamic architecture.
Anasagar Lake:
Lake Anasagar is a very popular name for lake in 
India. This one of the oldest lakes of India located
14 km away from Ajmer city and 3 km from 
Dausa. Lake Anasagar was built by Mughal 
emperor Shahjahan in 1631 to keep the water 
supply at proper level in the Pushkar Grand Tank, 
and it does for the last three centuries. Lake 
Anasagar is famous for its beautiful location 
consisting of Shikaras, floating area on the lake 
with trees overhanging to water, and well laid out 
lush greenery in its surroundings that always 
attract tourists.
