PLACEMENT TIPS
TIPS FOR BEST COVERAGE:
• Plug in the extender halfway between the 
router and weak WiFi zone
• Avoid corners, thick walls, and microwaves
• Place in a central, elevated location
INITIAL SETUP STEPS
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Plug the extender into a power outlet
2.Wait for the Power LED to become stable
3.Use a mobile device or computer to connect to 
MSRM SSID (e.g., MSRM_XXXX)
ACCESS SETUP PAGE
• Open a browser and go to http://ap.setup
• Login screen will appear
• Default username: admin, password: admin 
(or check label)
CONFIGURE EXTENDER SETTINGS
1.Select your existing WiFi network
2.Enter the WiFi password of your main 
router
3.Rename the extended network 
(optional)
4.Save settings and allow device to 
reboot
CONNECT DEVICES
• After setup, connect your devices to the new 
extended SSID
• Use the same password as your main WiFi 
network
• Test connectivity in the extended area
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
⚬ Reboot the extender
⚬ Reset to factory settings by holding reset 
button for 10 seconds
⚬ Move closer to router for initial setup
⚬ Use Ethernet cable for stable connection 
during configuration
