About Me
Axel Schwintzer is a summa cum laude 
graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of 
Music. He has worked as a professional 
musician and private instructor for many 
years – first in Boston, then in New York City, 
and now in Los Angeles. He has over 15 
years of extensive experience teaching piano 
to students between the ages of 5 and 65. 
His patient and relaxed, yet focused and 
organized approach to teaching has helped 
many students get closer to their goals.

Lessons take place at my private teaching 
studio in La Crescenta, equipped with an 
acoustic upright piano, a professional 88-key 
keyboard with weighted keys, and multimedia 
facilities for listening to and transcribing 
music as well as for play-alongs. The studio 
has daylight, fresh air, AC, and heating. If you
