Sustainability in a business context is no longer a buzzword, but a necessary one. As enterprises, institutions and governments as well as consumers push for greener solutions the spotlight falls on the energy efficiency of power electronics. Silicon has served the electronics industry well for over a decade, however they have inherent limitations in terms of energy efficiency and scalability that make it hard to reach sustainability objectives.
