The ATmega328 (Arduino Nano 3.x) or ATmega168 (Arduino Nano 2.x) are the heart of the tiny, comprehensive, and breadboard-friendly Arduino Nano board. It comes in a different packaging but has roughly the same capabilities as the Arduino Duemilanove. It only lacks a DC power jack and uses a Mini-B USB cable rather than a conventional one to operate.
