on to fulfil their dreams. 
 
Here are the various scholarships awarded by GIIS to deserving students. 
 
1. GIIS Global Citizen Scholarship 
This scholarship is based on merit and is awarded to students who give an exceptional 
performance by scoring high marks. It offers 100% waiver of tuition fee and hostel fees to 
students who have scored 94% and above marks, and 75% waiver to those who score 93% 
and above marks. The scholarship tenure is two years and is applicable for students who wish 
to complete class 11 & 12 in any of the GIIS campuses. To avail this scholarship, students need 
to fill the application form and upload their academic records for the past two years. 
 
2. Mahatma Gandhi Universal Values Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship 
Through this scholarship, the school plans to extend support in the form of financial assistance 
to deserving students and make education affordable for parents across various economic 
spectrums. The scholarship tenure is for two years. It aims to ensure that students don't face 
any financial hurdle in their educational journey. To avail this scholarship, students need to 
submit the application form along with all prerequisite family income documents and 
academic records of the past two years. 
 
3. GIIS Global Sports Scholarship 
This scholarship aims to provide excellent foundational support to young sportspersons and 
reward their achievements at state, national, or international levels. Besides financial 
support, this scholarship focuses on providing proper mentorship and guidance to budding 
talents. It is for student residents of India, including parents and the student fraternity of this 
school. It is for students across all grades from class 1 to 12, who have represented and have 
been awarded at various international, national, and state-level sports. 
 
4. 9GEMS Holistic Development Scholarship 
This scholarship is aimed for students who have gained recognition in an international, 
national, or state event in any of 9GEMS skills. It includes various sports and performing arts 
categories. 
 
5. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship 
This scholarship recognizes young technology aspirants and talents in the digital space. It 
provides them with support and encouragement to pursue their well-liked technical field. The 
scholarship tenure is of one year and is offered to students who have been awarded in various 
Olympiads, children's science congress, and ISRO space quiz. 
 
6. Global Future-Ready Merit Scholarship 
It is offered to a limited number of meritorious students for their excellent academic 
performance. It is for two years and is aimed for students of grades 9 and 10.
