From June 4 to 12, book enthusiasts can attend the Singapore Book Fair at the National Library Building on Victoria Street and the neighbouring Bras Basah Complex. The annual event is organised by SPH Media Trust's Chinese Media Group and returns after a two-year break owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will feature nine new book launches, presentations by local and international authors, and workshops for adults and children. The event will feature about 15 bookstores and publishers. On June 5, at 1pm, Communications and Information Minister Josephine Teo and Parliamentary Secretary for Communications and Information Rahayu Mahzam will attend the opening ceremony at the plaza of the National Library Building.
