Chennai Super Kings have started their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 journey with a seven-wicket defeat to Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. Despite posting a total of 188 runs from their allotted 20 overs, Chennai lost the game with eight balls to spare too. Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw smashed half-centuries to setup the win and a little cameo from Marcus Stoinis and Rishabh Pant helped Delhi get over the line in the penultimate over.
