Mumbai Indians (MI) pace bowler Trent Boult has said that their middle-order must not be pleased with how they have been performing in the 
tournament so far. The left-arm pacer has shared that they will 'obviously' like to have a few more runs on the board as well. 
Notably, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians have been failing to put up a massive total so far in the IPL 2021 season.

However, playing on the slow and tricky wickets of Chennai, Mumbai have batted first and have managed to win a couple of games and 
against Delhi Capitals, Mumbai failed to defend 137 too. Their middle-order consisting of Ishan Kihsna, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and 
Kieron Pollard are yet to put up a great show. 
"I am sure the middle-order is probably not too pleased with how things are going so far but I know the guys are hungry and desperate to put 
in the performance in our last game here in Chennai tomorrow," Boult said ahead of the team's game against Punjab Kings. 
"We have not had an ideal start, obviously like to have a few more runs on the board. But one of the strengths of this side is fighting till the 
end and the bowlers have managed to do that. Hopefully, we put runs on the board," added the New Zealand seamer. 
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old has shared that Mumbai batsmen will look to give more time in the middle before playing their shots on the tricky 
wickets in Chennai. 
"I think it is very hard for me to talk from a batting point of view. They (Hardik and Pollard) are key ingredients to our team, things have not 
gone to plan as yet. Wickets are hard here. They must be thinking about giving themselves some extra balls. Yeah, hopefully, we can take 
advantage of the good starts we are getting in the power play," Boult said.
