Honey Butter is a relatively new hybrid brought to 
center stage by Jim Barlup. Honey Butter is the cross 
Nancy Evans x (China x Lem’s Cameo). With a 
pedigree including Nancy Evans and Lem’s Cameo, 
Honey Butter was destined for greatness and it has 
remained in high demand here at the nursery. With a 
center of bright yellow, melting into hints of orange 
and strung together with a pink picotee edge, Honey 
Butter seems to glow like a sunset. It blooms in April 
when rhododendrons are flowering by the thousands
