Airbag sensors are part of the safety arrangement inculcated into cars for protecting the passenger’s head and chest area from being hurt during collision. The sensors are responsible for detection of sudden deceleration in a collision. Although these sensors are located throughout the vehicle, they are majorly present at the front side and behind the front fender to detect an impact at the front and in the side column to detect a side impact. The sensors trigger the airbag to go off whenever it detects a collision.
