If your Netgear extender is not working 
here we are explaining the wi-fi 
Steps To Solve extender setup as if you are taking it up 
Netgear for the first time. You can skip the steps which you are already done with. On 
Extender Not the flip side, you can at least cross-
check if you have done the things right( 
Working whatever set up you have done) or not.
Step 1: Attach & Set The 
Antennas
Take off the antenna caps and attach them to the 
connectors. Rotate them clockwise to sit-well then 
rotate the antennas into the right position. Ensure 
the antennas are seated correctly.
Step 2: Place And Power 
On Your Extender
• Choose a point close to your Wi-Fi router 
to place your extender.
• Insert the extender power plug into the 
power outlet and turn it ON.
• If required, press the power button on 
your extender as well.
Step 3: Connect To 
Your Extender
• Open the Wi-Fi connection Manager on your 
device.
• You can choose to do this setup on your 
computer, tablet, or smartphone.
• Under the wi-fi connection manager, choose 
your extender network with the name 
“NETGEAR_EXT.”
• Click to connect to your Wi-Fi extender.
