Satyanarayana Tota an 
Automation Expert
   Satyanarayana Tota, an automation expert, 
began his professional journey after completing his 
Masters from the Indian Institute of Technology, 
Kharagpur. He then started working with Jain 
Irrigation Systems as a Design Engineer. In this 
company, he took the responsibility of designing 
and executing sprinkler irrigation systems for 
several reputed golf courses in Pune.
Satyanarayana Tota’s Life Turning 
Point
    Satyanarayana Tota went on to work as an SQA 
Consultant in Auckland, New Zealand. After this, he 
relocated to the United States of America and gave 
his career another turn with Siebel Systems, Inc. As a 
senior software engineer, he was responsible for 
building the Siebel Automation framework.
Global Tests Automation Team Leader
   In 2006, Satyanarayana Tota joined Genentech and 
began to handle the global tests automation team. In 
this job role, he handled and executed test automation 
for more than a hundred projects. Here, he took the 
responsibility of implementing automation frameworks 
and guidelines for validation, along with the leading 
practices for automation.
Satyanarayana Tota A Great Personality 
   When it comes to diligence, Satyanarayana Tota uses it 
for guiding others too. In his free time, he is fond of 
teaching science to students from elementary and 
middle school. He also takes out time to guide science 
bowl teams from school for science competitions.
