The Deepcool Gammax GT ARGB is a revolutionary single-tower RGB air cooler. This is available in two 
options: GT and TGF, both of which are members of the Asus The Ultimate Force Gaming Alliance. The 
Gammax GT ARGB is a 120mm tower with its direct contact technology, which allows the heat sinks to 
make a direct connection to the source of heat for improved thermal heat dispersion.
It is pre-configured to work with AMD AM4 and the majority of Intel sockets. It has a TDP of 140W for 
AMD CPUs & 150W for Intel CPUs. Moreover, it boasts a magnificent & immersive RGB lighting effect not 
just on the provided fan but also on the top plate of the heatsink, which has an LED PCB which is present 
underneath the diffuser.
The RGB Lighting
The key RGB features of the Best Deepcool Gammax GT ARGB are the RGB Lighting on the top of the 
cooler and the RF120 fan. Deepcool has included two wires with this cooler to manage the RGB lights. The 
RGB Controller is one, and the Motherboard sync wire is the other. The SATA port powers the RGB 
Controller.
The opposite end includes two headers, allowing you to 
connect up to two RGB-enabled devices. Please keep in mind 
that owing to controller limitations, a push/pull arrangement 
would need the usage of two controllers.
The motherboard sync cable is a +12/G/R/B pin format cable 
that may be attached to any RGB-enabled (+12V only) 
connector on the motherboards. It works with Asus AURA 
Sync, Gigabyte RGB Diffusion, MSI Mystic Lighting, and 
ASRock RGB Sync, among other things.
Installation and Clearance
The Deepcool cooler has no clearance issues with the first PCIe slot or the DIMM slots. With a 
height of 156mm, you should look for a suitable chassis for greater clearance. When fitting the 
heatsink to the holes for mounting on the Intel LGA20XX socket, this cooler requires patience and 
effort.
It is less difficult to install on other sockets. More information may be found in the installation section. 
We wish it had a better LGA20XX socket mounting method as well. This cooler has not failed me when 
it comes to thermal performance. I was curious to see how it stacked up against the Reeven Justice, 
Noctua NH-U12S, & Raijintek Leto Pro RGB coolers.
Conclusion
The Deepcool Gammax GT ARGB is a 120mm single tower CPU air cooler with RGB support. When 
complete, it measures 13584.8x156mm. Keep in mind the height of 156mm while purchasing the 
cooler itself or the frame for this cooler. This cooler contains 48 aluminum fins that are 0.5mm thick 
and are placed into a less thick heatsink.
