A German word consists of a main vowel surrounded by consonants which determine the word’s meaning. The most-used vowels are 'a', 'o', and 'u'. While this system seems pretty simple and logical, it can be difficult to remember them all. If you're an Indian learning German, there are several peculiarities you'll have to get used to: -You don't have to learn any alphabets (so happy days!). There are only a few letters you need to place here and there in order to understand what a certain word means. -The grammar is much simpler but also much more complex than Indo-European ones (Italian, French or Spanish, for instance). -There isn't a gender.
