AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme in India 2023-
24
The AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme for this year, started by the 
Sports Control Board of the Airport Authority of India, is specifically 
designed for Indian athletes aged between 14 to 24 years. This 
scholarship aims to improve sports standards within AAI by actively 
nurturing and supporting the emerging talent of young athletes 
across India. The focus is on identifying, encouraging, and providing 
opportunities for promising individuals in the field of sports, 
contributing to the overall development of sports excellence within 
the organization.
Eligibility of AAI Sports Scholarship Scheme
1. Indian Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of India.
2. Age Range: Eligible candidates should fall within the age group of 14 to 24 
years.
3. Sporting Representation: The applicant must have represented India in 
Sub-Junior, Junior, or Senior National Championships, All India Inter-University 
Tournaments, or National School Games during the years 2021-22 and 
onwards.
4. Participation Period: The representation in sports events should be within 
the specified period of 2021-22 and onwards.
5. Encouraging Youth Talent: The scholarship aims to enhance sporting 
standards in the Airports Authority of India by encouraging young and 
talented athletes in the country.
