India Alliance Clinical and Public 
Health Research Fellowships 
India Alliance Clinical and Public Health Research Fellowships are for Health researchers with an 
MD, MS, MPH, or an equivalent clinical or public health degree and are eligible to apply for the 
DBT/Welcome Trust India Alliance Clinical and Public Health Research Fellowships 2023. The 
fellowships are provided by the public charity. Three categories are available for the CPH 
Fellowship competition.
Eligibility of India Alliance Clinical and Public Health 
Research Fellowships 
To be eligible, an applicant must: –
1. Be a clinician and public health researcher with an MD/MS/MPH or similar 
clinical/public health degree; and
2. Have 0-15 years of research experience post-qualifying degree (Note: Applicants in 
the last year of their degree may also apply).
Note:
1. There are no age or nationality limits.
2. Clinicians and public health researchers do not need a Ph.D. to apply.
3. While not mandatory, the candidate should be willing to build an independent 
research career in India.
